Cherry Blossoms and the City

On a stroll to the beach this afternoon, I fell under the spell of the heavy, pink blooms on the cherry trees. Blossoms, that for a short time, turn my neighborhood into an enchanted fairy land.

  1. Cherry blossoms are enchanting, you are right. I cannot see them without imaging lovely scenes from the past, or fairy lands, as you said. Nice pictures!

  2. It is amazing how nature can affect you so positively. I love your ending quote. It reminds me of sometimes having to leave our comfort zone to grow–or in this case blossom.
